REVIEW OF THE WEDDING PART TWO

Wedding II is the final book of the series ‘In love with my best friend.’

This book highlights the events that lead up to the wedding of Tia and Charles. A couple that had been in and out of love for years.

Charles was raised by his mother Delores, after his father left when he was just seven years old, to marry his secretary. Charles carried a grudge for all those years, yet he attempted to establish a relationship with his three siblings from his father’s marriage, Shannon, Donald and Gerald. Dwayne tries to reconnect with Charles after 25 years. At first, Charles pushes him away, but then decides to give him a chance. It’s when he finds out the reason Dwayne had left was because his mother, Delores had an affair with this guy Eddie and wasn’t even positive that Charles was Dwayne’s son.

Tia is my favorite character, classy and spirited. But she has a hellion for a sister, Shelby, who does whatever it takes to bring drama into everyone’s life, especially, Tia.

What makes this story complete, is that no matter what hills Charles and Tia have to climb, what rivers they have to cross, they do it together, surviving and relying on their love.

The author did an amazing job of showing the dysfunctions life may bring us and the understanding, that love can conquer all.
